My Review of Crazy Host Guy Web Hosting
Although I have hosted websites with a number of hosts, I'll always remember Crazy Host Guy. They were the second host I ever used, and the first one I would recommend to anyone starting out with a new website.
Let me start by saying why I chose Crazy Host Guy...
I was building some very small websites filled with articles, not pictures or graphics, so the sites took up very little space. I had no reason to pay $10 per month or more for 500 MB of space like a lot of hosts offered.
So I was pleased to find the "mini account" from Crazy Host Guy that gave me 3 MB of space for just $1.95 per month! That was plenty of space for my simple websites.
Since then, Crazy Host Guy has changed the "mini account" to 50 MB of space and 5 GB of bandwidth while keeping the price at the ultra-low $1.95 per month!
My sites suffered very little (if any) downtime and customer support would always answer my questions quickly and thoroughly. Even if I had a stupid question, they would help me!
There's not much else to say. Everything went well and I have yet to experience a problem with them.
Now that I think about it, there was one time they had to change some servers... but that worked flawlessly! That's impressive considering I've had other hosts who made changes and lost some of my files in the process. Worse yet, they didn't mention anything about the changes until after they made them! (Which was also after my files went missing!)
Verdict: CrazyHostGuy is a credible web host that I can recommend without hesitation.
